    Is it new AUD (2017 April~) basically same contents (no new topics) and structure as the past AUD except there are more SIMS?

    I have been studying for AUD and took the past AUD exams and I was wondering if I could study as I have been with the past exams with the Becker AUD book before the change.

    Thanks!

    I would definitely get a new book, but I would imagine studying doesn't change much in terms of concepts, etc…I did a ton of SIMS in preparation for mine though. Did every single one from Becker and did every single one in Ninja, and redid the ones I scored low on in Ninja the night before my test-felt like crap, but I think it actually helped to get the jitters out on exam day!

    I just took AUD for Q2.

    MCQs were simple and straightforward on the first test let. The second was a bit more detailed but not so bad. I did around 1,000 ninja MCQs and that helped. They're pretty similar in terms of style.

    I had 2 and a half hours left for my SIMS.

    The SIMs were okay. I had no DRS! There was one or two that was really relative but most of them were straightforward. I did all the SIMS in ninja and they were extremely helpful practice.

    I don't know how I did *gulp* but I can say I tried my best considering that I took the exam with a toothache (couldn't reschedule).

    jc1103 Sounds like you passed. Thanks for sharing your experience. I am a little nervous about the mandatory break given the sign-out and back in timely process. How was that?

    @struggler

    I think it really depends on your prometric center. The one I went to was really good and checking in and out has always been easy!

    I took FAR here too and the 15 minute break was no problem at all.

    For audit I took the break at 5:08, went to the restroom and then got signed back in at 5:10.

    The one I go to is 40 minutes from my house but I didn't want to go the one that was closer cause of its Yelp reviews (computers shut off, long lines, etc).

    Hey all,

    I just took AUD on 5/15 in Anaheim CA. I actually prefer the new structure of the exam, especially the 15 minute break. I took the entire fifteen minutes to use the restroom and go outside to soak in the SoCal sun. Overall, the whole process is a lot less draining than the previous version. After each break, I felt a lot more refreshed and prepared to do another set of questions.
