I’m taking BEC (hopefully my last) on 3/8. I really like the format of the new software. I like the adaptive nature of the MCQ and the study plan based on the pre-assessment of each sub-section. Other than a change in format of the exam, is the content the same? Do you think it would be ok to use the new version of the software? Practicing SIMS can only help solidify concepts anyway, right? Or I can just skip them and do MCQs and WCs.

I like the new format but it doesn't go with my book. I test on 3/10 and I'm worried. I'd rather study the current version of the exam. I'm wondering if there is an option to switch to the older version.

Sign out. In the bottom right hand corner, there is an option that allows you to go to the 2016 version. just figured it out.

I have both Apps on my iPad and know how to switch between them online. I was just curious about using new format for old exam. I think I will do the 2016 mainly and supplement mcQs with 2017 software.
