New CPA Exam: Top Changes and Top Characteristics

    This topic addresses the top changes for each section. It does not address all the changes because the other changes, not mentioned in this topic, affect all sections.

    Top Changes and Change Ranking for each section

    AUD: **
    Adds Evaluation as the highest skill level tested.

    BEC: ****
    Adds TBSs for the first time and extends by 1 hour.

    FAR: *
    Biggest drop in the number of MCQs.

    REG: ***
    Adds 4 more MCQs and extends by 1 hour.

    Top Characteristic for each section

    AUD: Only section that has Evaluation as the highest skill level tested.
    BEC: Only section that has both TBSs and WCs.
    FAR: A section that has the most material and calculations in a single subject.
    REG: A section that has the highest amount of MCQs.
