    Hello all!

So I have not been on this site for about a week because I have done nothing but study for the AUD and work (brand new system was implemented). With the last two tests resulting in a fail, I decided that I should try the slow and steady method, rather then the fast past method of studying. My main decision was based upon the 40-50 hours a week in work and 10-20 hours of studying. I really did not want to burn myself out.

So, the plan started at the end of April. I went completely through the Wiley text and acted as if this was the first time looking at the material. I am trending pretty nicely and I am noticing why I received a 73 on my last attempt. For my first simulated test, I got a 76, Major improvement needed and those SIMS are still kicking my ass.

For the next month, I am going to rewrite all my notes, listen to Ninja Audio, begin to memorize and understand all flash cards, read the full Ninja Text, rewrite the Ninja notes and do small MCQ bunches.Thinking of doing 2-3 TBS a night, depending on the length. I really want to information to sink in and not feel like there is a fire behind me.

Starting in July, I will make this test my bitch. Slow and steady is now gone and crunch time has started. For 3 straight weeks I plan to do all note cards, rewrite key point notes (some items that will not stick) and hit the MCQ and TBS hardcore. I am hoping to do all questions twice and TBS about 3 times…

Do you think this is efficient? Am i wasting my time?

I honestly hate the number 67..... officially the worst number ever. Ugh, but 73 feels so much worse.

    AUD -  67 ; 73 - retake August.

    BEC - 69

    FAR - 63, 67, Retake TBD

    REG -  eventually 🙂

I also decided to try the slow and steady route this time around. My plan to take FAR on July 3 is similar to your plan for AUD. I feel much more confident using this study method than trying to cram everything into a couple of months (or less).

So I don't think it's a waste of time…just because fast and frantic works for some doesn't mean it's right for everyone. Good luck!

It depends on how you absorb material. Personally, I studied for 6 weeks for REG and 4 weeks for BEC and passed. However, I did just finish my Bachelors and Masters degrees so the info is still fresh. It can't hurt to take it slow, especially if you keep retaking exams and not passing. I have a friend who is doing similar things to you and he is less stressed and has a better social life because of it. Just be warned that if you spread material out so far, you'll start forgetting the stuff you learned a month ago. I can study all the stuff in a short amount of time because I know that's the only way I'll retain it.

    Good luck!

    AUD - 77
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 81
    REG - 75
They say 10% pass all exams on the first attempt. Happy to be in that club!

Thanks all for the input. I was starting to worry about forgetting information the more time I have myself to study. So, I decided to set a day for just a review of each chapter. I read the chapter (mostly examples and highlights) and take a 30 mgs on just the chapter.. I am doing this every Sunday. This way even if I am on chapter five I am still reviewing 1. I hope this helps me retain. Plus the ninja audio is played every day to and from work and each night before I go to bed.

I hope this works. If not, back to the drawing board.
