    Hello all,

I had the becker 2016 materials and was wondering if I will be equipped with the necessary information to take the exam at the end of this month. I have been practicing with the old mcqs and had a 70 on the test when I took it last year. Would it be possible to pass the exam with what I already have or would I have to supplement this with other newer materials? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!!!

I don't think it will hurt you too much. Do you have access to the online version of Becker? Not sure if you can just google this or find on their website without the log-in, but Becker provides a list of all changes they make to their books each time another version comes out. So, with those changes in mind, you can be confident that you're studying the correct info (also keep in mind they took some topics out like Commercial Paper, etc).

For the most part, though, I think you'll be OK. I started studying for my REG test just as they switched to the 2017 version, so I used a little of each version. I'd even say the 2016 MCQs were harder…the 2017 ones at times felt repetitive and relatively easy..especially compared to the actual exam. But, we'll see soon how I did on that!

    good luck!
