Ninja 10 Point Combo enough?

I am reviewing my options, but how does the forum feel about using solely NINJA 10 Point Combo as a standalone?

I will be free from work and already have my education requirements, so from now until April 2017 I plan on passing all four parts of the exam.

Does anyone recommend purchasing other supplemental material or is Ninja truly recommended as sufficient enough to be used as a standalone?

So far from the reviews I’ve read around the forum, Ninja seems to be the way to go 😀

I will take it that I should stay away from Ninja study material?

I passed all 4 sections on the first try with nothing but Ninja materials.

    BEC - 85
    FAR - 91
    REG - 92
    CPA, CFE

My company purchased CPA Excel for me and I used it (along with Ninja MCQ) for my AUD and BEC and as you can see I just missed passing both. For my retakes I only used Ninja materials and I passed both on the second try. For FAR and REG, I passed both on the first try using only Ninja. So I highly recommend it! My routine was copying ten pgs of notes per day, doing as many MCQs as possible, and listening to the audio while working out, in the car, at work, etc. No reading, no videos!

My coworker only got the 10 point combo, and she passed her first section (AUD) on the first try.

Go for it! It will save you a lot of money, and also a lot of time. Ninja is straight to the point and teaches you what you need to know to pass with no extra fluff.

Awesome, I had two parts passed a few years ago using Becker but they expired. I have a few years experience now in public accounting but I'm taking a break so I can finally get this exam out the way. This exam will have my full attention and I want to pass all four parts before the changes next year so I'm really hoping Ninja is the way to go.

Looking forward to crushing this exam asap!

I purchased the ninja 10 pt combo with becker provided by the firm I will work for.
Everyone has their own preference and I was so nervous to be only using becker for my first cpa test and the hardest section FAR.
I see all the great reviews for ninja and the ninja notes. Overall, the notes were meant to be brief, but its written in a way that I don't find very helpful besides a few pages with formulas. Overall, not satisfied with the customer service provided by Ninja as well.I end up delaying my FaR exam day because an issue came up with my application and I asked Ninja whether I can get an extension on the FAR MC software and there is no response. I have to renew my FAR MCQ and treat that as my “second” free one for the memorial sale deal where I buy 1 and get 1 free.

I did recently pass FAR and still very happy that I did so for my remaining sections I know to only use becker and search the internet for resources if if Im confused on certain topics. This is not to diss Ninja, but for me it was an average experience as I found myself going back to Becker materials whenever I attempt to use Ninja.

Hi leo – I'm sorry about your experience…I did some digging to figure out what happened.

Your message was surprising because if there's one thing I think we do better then the “big box” courses is our customer service.

I'm often answering emails at 11pm on Friday/Saturday nights and so is NINJA Andria – so I take customer service very seriously and want all ninjas to have a great experience as a ninja customer.

Your first email to me was to my jeff@another71.com email … you should have (hopefully) gotten a customer service auto-responder asking you to email support@another71.com instead.

I'm not sure if you got it or not…I always assume that people email there and have things pretty-well streamlined to all go there so that nothing gets missed.

I see that you ordered the FAR BOGO and then used FAR again for your free section request?

You still have another section free coming…I read the other emails and I think there was some confusion all the way around.

Please email us @ support@another71.com and we'll send you the 2nd part of your BOGO.

We also added the NINJA PLUS videos to the combo since your May purchase, so you'll get those as well.
