    NINJA Question –

I was wondering how to use the NINJA notes MCQ and SIMS the most efficiently. Like, for MCQ, did you select 30 questions from one topic and then just go from there, or did you mix and match? Also was wondering if SIMS in ninja were good for prepping for AUD?

    AUD - 69
    BEC - 79
    FAR - 79
    REG - 83

When I used Ninja for AUD I started with just the topics I finished studying from the book. Then gradually add topics as I finished studying them. I always include the previous topics in the selection so I can keep them fresh in my mind and don’t forget them.

For example, my first 30 selection coming only from topics of “1 – Professional Responsibilities”. After I studied “2 Auditing and Attestion – Understanding” I will include them in my selection (choosing Category 1 and 2). Then 1,2 and 3 and so on until I have all of the categories selected randomly.

    AUD - 91
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 84
    REG - 88

@tncpa2018 Thanks! This helps a lot and judging by your score, you seemed to have gotten a really good grasp of audit! I'll try that out!

@Lilyum I'd usually start with sets of 30 or 40, where all topics are fair game. I'd do a few sets, and then I'd look at where I'd scored the lowest. I'd then do MCQ sets specifically covering those areas in which I scored weakly. I didn't utilize the SIMS as much, but it's certainly good for practice and solidifying concepts.

    Good luck!

I have done specific areas corresponding to the Becker book. I like to do everything section by section and then go back and do “missed since last time seen” to redo the ones I got wrong, and then do random sets indefinitely. I would highly recommend Ninja SIMS for AUD. They really helped to solidify the concepts. They are nothing like the test but they help to study for it! I would also highly recommend to do the AICPA practice test to get a taste for the format of the SIMS.
