Can someone please tell me if the Ninja notes are worth it? I have less than a month to retake Reg and the Becker material is just so much info. I'm looking for something that is straight to the point and written in easy to read terms as opposed to the complicated textbook language and is something manageable to read over and over in under a month. Please would love the input.July 1, 2011 at 12:36 pm #190184
I am taking the exam on Monday (Nov 24th) and wondering if I should buy Ninja notes for BEC this late in the study game. I use CPA excel and WTB and have been doing that but used the notes for my other two exams that I have passed. However I got them way earlier and just read over them randomly.I don't feel very confident with my progess but not sure if 5 days of having the notes will make any difference?? Thoughts…Thanks!July 1, 2011 at 12:36 pm #190853
If I want to supplement my Becker course with Ninja notes, do you think it will be helpful? I only see the 2014 version, if I want to buy the Ninja notes, would that help me? Or do I have to wait for the 2015 version-is there one?
Please help!!July 1, 2011 at 12:36 pm #183919
How many pages are in the REG ninja notes, the pdf's only? Considering to try them for REG, have been a Gleimer.July 1, 2011 at 12:36 pm #180531
I didn't pass FAR first time around so I was thinking of adding Ninja Audio and Ninja Notes to my Becker materials…has anyone use the audio/notes for FAR and would you recommend this? I can't even think of taking FAR for a 3rd time and MUST pass it next time.
Also, how long do you think I need to study for the re-take? I was planning for last week of November so 7.5-ish weeks…think that is enough or should I wait until January?July 1, 2011 at 12:36 pm #183602
Ok, my question will give away just how new to the whole NINJA thing I am, but when everyone speaks of “rewriting the NINJA notes”, what exactly needs to be “rewritten” and how? I purchased the combo package, but have yet to dig in and start studying for this bear!!!!July 1, 2011 at 12:36 pm #160700
Has anyone else used the Ninja Notes and what are your opinions? Is it worth buying? What does it consist of?July 1, 2011 at 1:27 pm #320776

Another good thing about the Ninja notes is that they are updated for 7/1. Wiley hasn't issued any updates for 2011, and Becker is still in the process for at least one exam. I think BEC but I'm not positive.July 1, 2011 at 3:28 pm #320778
The Ninja notes are a great way to highlight all the major points you'll need to know for the test. Its very straight to the point, no “fluff”. I read the notes, and know that so long as I understand these things, i've at least got the most important things covered.July 1, 2011 at 3:42 pm #320779
I know this will make my wallet nag at me, but I went ahead and bought the Ninja notes for REG. With FAR and AUD, I was able to create my own notes and just work off of that. With REG, I did the same, but there's a lot more details and memorization involved and I find the material a lot more complex. So, I believe with my notes and Jeff notes combined, I can make my studying a lot easier and more effective. I'll start using them tonight. Go ninja!!January 12, 2012 at 5:08 pm #320780
Would you all recommend these NINJA notes in addition to me purchasing the full Yaeger Home Study w/ Listen ‘n Learn Audio Lecture? The audit lectures will just be for my commute and while at work, but I was wondering if you recommend adding on NINJA notes?January 12, 2012 at 5:17 pm #320781
YES!!!!! not sure about the other sections, but definitely for AUD 😀January 12, 2012 at 8:07 pm #320782

Definitely worth the investment. I used for FAR, REG and Audit….defintely get for audit.January 13, 2012 at 2:10 pm #320784
it's a must have…. my strategy has been to do any n every mcq i see and then go thru the ninja notes 2 b4 exam…Hasn't failed me yet…
I am actually thinking of going thru the REG ninja notes first before doing any questions when REG study time comesSeptember 16, 2013 at 5:53 pm #448319
Here are free demos to see if they are for you: https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-study-plan/
Also – there are a lot of threads about people's experience with the ninja notes here: https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/forum/cpa-review-materialsSeptember 16, 2013 at 7:07 pm #448321
I used Becker for Audit and got scores of 69 and 71. For my 3rd time, I supplemented Becker with Ninja Notes and Wiley test Bank and got a 22 point increase. I definitely encourage it and wished I bought for all other sections.September 16, 2013 at 7:23 pm #448323
Thanks Legit44 – I am going to buy the complete NINJA Notes to give me the edge for AUD on 10/4 and to help me crush FAR in November!September 19, 2013 at 11:38 pm #448325

What about the ninja study planner? has anyone used it? or can explain how to use it?
is it filled in or is that something I need to do?September 21, 2013 at 11:51 pm #448333
Has anyone used the study planner. I tried to download it with no luck. It might be my computer.February 11, 2014 at 8:29 pm #511271
The “NINJA Notes” that were part of the combo are what need to be rewritten. There's about 10 or so pages of instructions and study techniques at the front of each NINJA Notes section, and then somewhere around 70-120 pages of notes for each section (BEC is the shortest, FAR is the longest) that should be written out. The text isn't crammed on each page, so it should only take a few weeks to write out even the longest section. It definitely helps with retaining the info!February 11, 2014 at 9:33 pm #511273
Thanks. I kept seeing reference to “rewriting”, and I suppose I would eventually find out what is meant, but I was just curious.February 11, 2014 at 10:26 pm #511233
“Re-writing” means copying the ninja notes for the current part you are taking. The ninja notes come in a form where you can copy, print, pdf, however you would copy the notes as are the suggested amount of times included in the instructions along with any notes you have take with your review course. The re-writing helps keep the information fresh in your mind while studying and until test day.
Hope this helps.February 24, 2014 at 5:27 pm #519567
138 Pages – First 10 or so are study strategy

Just got home, it worked on the good ol iPad. Must have been work computer issue. By the way, I am on the 3 day study program (including tonight), due to rescheduling issues from winter storm earlier this month. Hope the Ninja notes help.February 25, 2014 at 5:03 am #519575
I sent you an email… I am scheduled for BEC in May 2014 and AUD in July2014. I currently have Ninja complete Notes 2013 and Ninja complete Audio 2013 and Yaeger Lectures 2013 as well as Wiley book for 2013. How much is the cost to update my complete set of 2013 Ninja Audio and Notes? are the Wiley 2013 book and Yaeger Lectures still useful for BEC since its 2013?
