If you plan to sit for the BEC or REG sections on or after April 1, 2017, the earliest you may schedule your test date is March 11, 2017. This scheduling hold supports the change to the next version of the BEC and REG Exam sections, which increase from three hours to four hours each as of April 1, 2017.

You should be able to after today or tomorrow. The 10 day extension technically ended yesterday, but hey they need a few days to regroup, especially if we have to wait til august for results. So give a few days, it will open up or NASBA will have to return a lot of money to anxious test takers.

@CPA788, There are April spots available at other testing sites in my state. The Prometric I looked up is not very big and it is also located on a college campus, so I'm guessing those spots have already been nabbed by students who want to be finished before graduation.

@mecrushya – The bay area is just out of control. There were 2 seats in my usual location and none in the next closest locations, and I need a seat by 4/26. You saw my feelings on having to sit at a new location haha but I went out to good old Bakersfield and I had lots of options. It's just crazy. I can't help but wonder since the exam time has been extended on a few of the new exams that it affects how much space is available at Prometrics.

Also, if anyone has seen the show Baskets on FX, Bakersfield is exactly like that.

I scheduled REG at 11:50 last night to make sure I got the date I wanted. There were plenty of open spots in April and May.
