    Hey guys,
so I have 2 parts down and 2 to go. My first section is expiring in October. I recently learn that I will soon have to look for another job. Life sucks right now and I have a mortgage to pay for.. I dont know if I should put this exam down for now and find another job. I dont have any savings that allows me to not work for x months and focus on these exams. I am really lost and feel like I can’t accomplish this at all. I have AUD schedule for end of May.. Guess Ill take that and see how things go by then. I just can’t even focus.

Anyone was in similar situation?? How did you cope with this?

BEC- PASS (Expiring in DEC 2017)

    REG- PASS (Expiring Feb 2018)

    AUD- PASS (Expiring Oct 2018)

    FAR- 65, 60, 59, 77!!! -GOD BLESS

If I can do it, anyone can do it!

You've come this far – do it. Treat it as another facet of your life and compartmentalize it. Do it in the AM (or whenever) when not doing the other stuff. A lot can happen between now and October including passing both sections. There are plenty of people out there with heavy crosses to bear. Pace like it's a marathon and not a sprint and it can be done. What is your study method? Maybe you can post on that and get some guidance on overcoming challenges. I think it's moments like this that are good to pause, reflect, adjust and then commit.

    AUD - 77
    BEC - 81
    FAR - 77
    REG - 81
REG - 1. Becker only - fail (forgot to study depr - oops); 2. Becker only - Pass
FAR - 1. Becker only - fail; 2. added Ninja Notes and MCQ - Pass
AUD - 1. Becker videos; Ninja Notes, Audio, MCQ, Becker Notes - Pass
BEC - 1. Ninja Notes, Audio, MCQ, Becker Notes - Pass

I say keep at it. You've come this far. You can get unemployment compensation and search for part time work in the meantime if you have to. Enhance your focus and don't let them expire.

you won't be going on job interviews before 8 or after 6 and if you are working now, you shouldn't be studying between those hours either. So you are already accustomed to the schedule needed to job hunt and keep studying vs. work full time and study. Don't lose focus. Job hunt and talk to recruiters during the day and study at night and in the morning. It's hard because real life circumstances are causing you stress, but you need to be mentally strong enough to be able to understand that looking for a new job interferes 0 with when you would normally be studying. The rest is being able to focus enough to concentrate when you are studying and not let the other life factors creep in. Easier said than done for sure, but it can be done.

When I had just one part down, I had to look for a new job. I had many job interviews. I started a new job when I had 2 parts down. I stayed late at work because of a training. Since I didn't have much time, I got up early and went to bed late to study. Looking back, it was not easy at all, but it is all worth it. Now I am pursuing an advanced degree. You could do it!

If you need a job soon I'd focus on the job – like you said you've said there's a mortgage on hand.

You'd be surprised how much you can accomplish though if you dedicate 100% to an exam and to work (i.e. truly attaining a 0.000% work life balance level).

In January, I took BEC, closed on a house a few weeks later, filed 2 busy season clients working 60-75 hours a week, and took AUD right in between getting my highest score. I literally drove from and back to the office after buying a house. I was shocked at what I accomplished when I accepted writing off all other things that competed for time.

You can without a doubt accomplish it. Depending on how soon you'll need a job, you might want to dedicate 100% of your time to that first. Sooner you get that done the sooner you can study clear headed as well.

My $.02 – it's tough to save with a mortgage, but a “9 months cash” rainy day fund is a big deal. Make that a personal resolution as important as the exam.

Thank you guys for the support!!! TBH I haven't been studying much because of busy season; I was told that I wasn't needed after the season.. which was a little hard for me to believe but nothin I can do at this point. As @hamms mentioned I guess I could go for interviews during the day and study at night and in the AM.
Heres my study method prior to busy season: I use to study after work and the gym from 7:30/8 to 12 every day, Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday I study anywhere around 6-7 hours with the night off. So I would go 10AM-1PM, then break till 3PM. Study again at 3-7PM.

Im a little shock it has been a year since my first pass and I just feel like a failure at times. But I really appreciate all the support I am getting. I haven't gotten any notice as far as my last day but I'll start applying for jobs now. Thanks for all the support once again!
