Start by rewriting the solution to MCQ that were hard for you in your own words.

If you need more guidance on the subject of the MCQ(s), find some articles online and rewrite that. Again, in your own words.

If you find it easier to scribble in the margins of MCQ, then do that.

    Organize by topic.

You don't have to go crazy with it. Do whatever you need to do to increase your knowledge.

Again, there is no science here. You want to find ways to increase your understanding of the material. Do NOT approach these exams as an exercise in memorization.

So if notes don't work for you, then don't.

I only took notes for half a section but I used a notebook. I would mark each page as “ch #, section #”

However, my question to you would be, do you find notes helpful? In college, were you a note taker? If so, did you actually review and find them helpful?

I ask because for my first exam, I took notes for a while. I soon realized it was a big waste of time as I knew I would never open that notebook again. I was actually right! For the next three sections, I honestly didn't even bother taking notes.

    1)
in first attempt , i didnot created detailed notes . I have created main n difficult mcq .
but by the time i finish all chapters n started review , i found i forgot many basic n easy questions from the topic . again took some time to search for their answers . this made me frustrated that i forgot easy things .i also missed basic notes to review before exam .

    2) in second attempt of far , i made so much detailed notes that i was so bored in writing . it became mechanical to write notes . so half way i left notes writing .As mentioned by you , i hardly reAD anything before exam because of time constraint .

so now i am confused . i need some basic material worded easily , handy to read and revise .i dont want to write detailed notes .thats why i am looking for suggestions .

    3) how frequently you people revise topics to remember content .
