[MOAC]

I got my CPA Llicense a couple of months ago. Today in mail I got a refund from NYS for initial License fee of $377. Does anyone know what the reason could be? I double checked NYS CPa website, I’m still licensed lol. But not why would they issue me a refund? My account wasn’t charged twice either.

Yea, I can read, lol.
I have no idea why. It makes no sense, and I have never heard of that happening before.
I would do the same thing you did, and check the website to be sure I am still listed as licensed and active.
Other than that, what more can you do?
Call them and ask so they can tell you to send the money back in?
My check went in last April 2017. I hope they send me a refund too.

After working in NYS for as long as I have, nothing coming out of Albany surprises me anymore.
I would honestly assume its just a glitch in their system that triggered the refund.
Even if they revoked your license I see no mechanism that would make them issue you a refund at this point in time.

I would let sleeping dogs lie and just keep checking the online system.

I only post from computer.
I find the picture I want, then right click and view image, then right click and copy image location.

Then you click the img box right up above the text box.
you paste the link into the first popup that comes up, and leave the second one (description) blank.
