Done! The dream has finally been realized. Hard work and dedication does pay off. So glad I stumbled across NINJA one day. No doubt that these materials are the best!

Good luck to all those still going. There is light at the end of that dim tunnel!

@qfolmar…very encouraging. Since you were using the same study materials that I have. How did you apply it. I am older and trying to juggle family (husband and kids) along with work. seeking all the motivation I can to stay on task. That has been my biggest problem because the support isn't always there! Maybe because I have been off and on this journey since 2013! Yes, 3 years. Any help that you can provide would be great!

    Thank you,
    Erica

Woohoo!! I passed as well. It was tough, but I couldn't have done it without the support of my loved ones. Here's the cake I bought to share with everyone who helped me succeed…

    Cake!

3-5 hours studying during each weeknight after work. 16 total hours during the weekend:
91 AUD – 3 weeks study time with Roger.
84 BEC – 4 weeks study time with Roger.

5-7 hours studying during each weeknight after work. 20-30 total hours during the weekend:
90 FAR – 3.5 weeks to get through the material with Becker, then 1 week of review using Roger MCQ's. 4.5 weeks total.
89 REG – 2 weeks to get through the material with Becker, then 1 week of review using Roger MCQ's. 3 weeks total.

@ejustdoit, sorry for the delay as I'm just seeing your post. During the week I would study 1.5 hours before work, 1 hour at lunch and an 1.5 hours after work for a total of 4 hours each day. On the weekend I would try to get in at least 5 hours; 6-7 hours on a good weekend day. I would view Roger's lectures and review with Ninja's MCQs and rewrite my Ninja notes. I used Wiley's MCQs for my final review.

This thread makes me smile. Congrats to everyone that post here. I am done as well. It took longer than I wanted it to be, but nevertheless, I got it done within 18 months while working full time! I can finally go on vacations!

@qfolmar…thank you. The mornings are hard for me. I usually try to cram at 3 hours in at night. Job is so demanding, so lunch is usually. How long did you study for BEC?

@ejustdoit, I had to break up my study schedule; it was a mental thing for me as I felt I was retaining more. I studied for 8 weeks, 200 hours.

So basically, I failed REG three times (the third time was a 74 effort. yeah I know.). I had 4 months to pass 3 exams before my FAR exam expired (November 21st). One by one, I studied my ass off, and I passed REG, passed my AUD retake (73 effort the first time), and the final exam I was supposed to take was November 19th, two days before FAR expired. So everything was on the line.

December 8th score release. I passed with an 83. I am done! Talk about cutting it close though. Onto the CalCPA Ethics exam 🙁
