    Hello All,

This post is of no reason and I really don’t even need any response; I just want to get it out!

So, I just got home from my AUD exam; first try. Honestly, I can not even say how I feel. I don’t think the sections got any harder. Well, based on the length of the questions getting longer. I do know the first section had realistic questions. Like I may have only needed to read them my normal two times. PSHH the second was like WTF??? I actually remember looking at a questions and was like what the hell are they looking for, is there more to this question?? Eh, annoyed. Third, honestly don’t remember, but mixed? After spending 2 hours each morning and 4 hours each evening after work and a good 4-6 hours on the weekend for 7 weeks you would think I could read the blessed, but no.

EHHH, so annoyed right now. I don’t think I passed and I am a little annoyed with myself. I am not at all blaming the test/questions/center. I am only blaming myself. Phew, who is drinking with me tonight?!?! My husband honestly can not wait. I think he needs a drink after these last couple weeks too.. I stress him out 🙂

Thanks all for allowing me to vent. I feel a bit better now. Well, and I have a beer in my hand.. so false feelings??!?!? Probably.

I honestly hate the number 67..... officially the worst number ever. Ugh, but 73 feels so much worse.

    AUD -  67 ; 73 - retake August.

    BEC - 69

    FAR - 63, 67, Retake TBD

    REG -  eventually 🙂

Eh, juse a bit frustrating right. I need to get this out and move on with my day. Sometimes it helps to vent on here because people know how it feels. I am hoping we all pass on the 16th!

I just completed AUD as well (DEC 10). 1st testlet was reasonable and was actually doing really well on time. 2nd testlet like others said WTF?!?! I was either like what are they asking OR they are asking something which I know the concept well, but in a very twisted /unusual way. 3rd testlet was a mix, but more similar to the crap on Testlet 2. I had a little over 1 hour for SIMS, felt they were reasonable overall, but was rushing due to time.

I honestly don't know how I did. It is my 1st AUD exam. Are we going to get our results DEC 16 or Dec 21/22 (?).

I also took AUD this morning. I literally have no idea how I did. I thought I did well in the first testlet and think I got two sims correct. The third teslet and other sims were so confusing. Im honestly starting to think I didn't pass but Ill just try to enjoy my week and hope for a pass on Friday. Good luck to all of you!

I used roger CPA as my review course and the questions make sense and I usually do really well when I take those questions as practice. However, I just don't understand why when i take the real exam at Prometric it is so tricky and like WTF are they asking. At least that is how I feel about half the questions.

Is there are review course that has similar questions to that of the CPA exam? I have the wiley test bank but I don't use it due to time constraints (I used Roger practice questions).

Joining you all for a drink. Seriously this feels like my happy hour. I'm in the same boat; I got out of AUD today and it was pretty brutal. This is a test that I have managed to knock out in the past but lost it due to expiration. This felt like payback and maybe I could have been a little too cocky thinking I had this one in the bag. I did study almost daily for this test. I stopped hammering out SIMs because it's more important to me to understand concepts and spend more time on MCQ. Today's test really showed me that SIMs are no joke. I spent a lot of time reviewing the first three testlets and maybe could have used that extra time on the SIMs since the review didn't cause me to change any of my initial answers. Today I could hardly sleep because of this test. I've been doing nothing but questions this whole week until my eyes turned bloodshot red. I hope we all pass. Counting down the days to 12/16.

@Shawn in va- if the test was sent by midnight on the 10th then you would get the results on Friday the 16th. I hate the wait!! Good luck to you!

Took audit today too. I am in the middle I left not sobbing or jumping for joy. I was trying to see if the testlets were getting harder or not, but I would have difficult questions mixed with easy ones. The last testlet did have a couple I never saw in study material. SIMS didn't seem bad, since I do write-up at work it seemed pretty easy on the J/E ones. All I know is I have a week of freedom. If I pass then I don't have to retake BEC until end of January. Wish everyone luck and positive thoughts on the 16th. The best Christmas gift will be able to post in the I passed AUD– thread.

I am right there with you @DISLCPA. I am going back home for Christmas with my husband. We haven't been there in over 5 years. It would b really nice to tell my family and friends that I was able to pass a part of the exam. The encouragement will help so much for my retake of FAR in February.

    Here is to the 16th!

Took AUD this morning. Second testlet was BRUTAL – I marked nearly half the questions to go back and re-evaluate, since they weren't something you could know, you had to apply that “professional judgement” we don't have yet since we're taking the exams fresh out of school. Most of the sims were OK but I couldn't find the research one (I had tons of time, spent more than 30 minutes looking for it nearly reading the entire guidance on the topic!). There was one with multiple questions on … a complex form of investment?… that wasn't in my review materials, so I had to “fly by the seat of my pants”. Hoping my gut instincts and logic got me through!

whizzed straight through the mcq like IDGAF, and had 3 hours for the simulations

Lol at the above post ^ Finished 3 testlets in an hour! Did u just take the exam for fun?!

Anyhow, I had the same experience that everyone had on here. 1st teslet medium, 2nd testlet brutal, 3rd testlet medium/hard. I had 1 hour and 30 mins for the sims and felt I
did reasonably well, although they were tricky. I'm hoping I passed, but u never know with these exams. Goodluck to all and I understand your Strugles!!!

I pushed back REG pretty far into Q4 and wanted to get a look at Audit so I decided not to push it into 2017.

I feel pretty good about the sims (lol), so there's still a chance that I may have squeaked by
