    Hello everyone,

Long time visitor first time poster. Just took FAR last week and have had a slow start beginning to study for AUD. I am supposed to sit for it on Mar 9th. So far I have only completed A1 in Becker. I studied about 38 days for FAR but hardcore maybe 8+ hours a day, and have mixed feelings about how I did. Strong MCQs, weak on Sims.

Anyhow, do you guys think I can manage to cover AUD effectively in 25 days if I’m putting in 8+ hours a day. I got no job at the moment so finding time isn’t a problem. After covering A1 i was scoring much better on the homework when compared with FAR the first time through.

Just want to see hear your guys’ thoughts and experiences.

    Cheers.

    21 days, ~85 hours, 1000 MCQs (75.2%), score 88.
    You can do it!
Don't forget the AICPA Practice exams.

Impressive stats right there! Thanks for your input. Did you work in Audit/have experience in it, or was it your first time through the material?

ZERO audit experience. 15 years in tax.
The most important thing for AUD is to get the big picture.
Went through all the video lectures (Roger) as fast as possible, then went straight to MCQs.

The Ethics and professional responsibility areas were sort of common sense, but I've done the EA exam and am required to have ethics CPE every year, so I've been through most of that before.

    No problem at all.
Actually… here's my post from 3 months and 1 day ago asking almost the exact same question as you.

I will be attempting to do the same thing in about 20ish days. I figure 4 hours per day during the week and 6 hours on each weekend day for roughly 85-90 hours.
