    Hello!

    I would love to hear some different experiences and see a show of hands of how many people passed REG on the 3rd try, if it took you 3 times to pass REG (not 2). Needing some confidence building for when I go and sit for it tomorrow for my 3rd time.

    FAR - 76 (lost credit, then 79)

    AUD - 71, 78

    BEC - 78

    REG - 62, 74, 73, 82! whoo!

    passing regulation is definitely doable. I passed on my third try. For me, FAR was much harder. I took REG for the third time a week after taking FAR for the fifth time. I passed REG with a 77. At that point, I was more concerned with passing FAR, but still managed to do both.

    AUD: 77 (4/21/15),
    BEC: 74 (8/25/15), 79 (1/12/16),
    FAR: 65 (2/27/15), 73 (7/27/15), 72 (11/16/15), 73 (7/13/16), 75 (10/14/16)
    REG: 57 (5/17/16), 74 (8/16/16), 77 (10/21/16)

    Completed 4 exams in 11 tries within 18 months.

    CA PETH: 82 (10/17), 92 (11/17)

    I felt so terrible and failed at my first attempt.. second attempt, I got a 84. so be calm and know the key areas..outlined in all the study programs. DEFINITELY KNOW how the forms are filled for individuals, partnership etc. Its easy.. I had a hard time with Audit but now I am all done. Good Luck

    It took me three attempts to pass REG, and I still have no idea how I passed it the third time and not the rest. I got a rmiserable sinus infection 2 days before I passed it, and was still pretty sick when I took it. It was hard to focus/think too hard so I just picked what I thought was the right answer and moved on… I wonder if not having the brain power to second guess myself was what finally did it for me? Who knows, but I didn't feel any more confident going into my third take than I did on my second, so it's definitely possible to pass the third time! I think an element of luck plays into all these exams as well; maybe I finally got lucky with the questions I received and which ones were pretest. You can do it! Let us know how it goes 🙂

    Do you guys have any suggestions on what materials to use for studying? I am stuck on REG as well and have used Becker, but it seems like due to the amount of times I have seen REG (three times), I know the answers. Looking to use a supplement course, not sure if I should use Ninja MCQ or Wiley.

    i would recommend roger CRAM. I remember after i failed REG, i was desperate to pass both FAR and REG within 2 months, both within a week of each other. I bought CRAM and passed both!

    BEC: 74 (8/25/15), 79 (1/12/16),

    @Clockwork

    with a 74 score, are you weaker on SIMs and stronger on MCQ?

    BEC = 79

    AUD = 79

    FAR = 84

    REG = 86

    Prayer + AICPA blueprints = my success

    BEC = 72 (6/08/16)
    FAR = ?
    REG = ?
    AUD = ?

    @CPA_2018

    I used both the Roger Cram and Ninja MCQ for my third take at REG, and barely looked at Wiley. I was sick of looking at the same material so I think switching it up and seeing things presented in a different way definitely helped me.

    @Lentilcounter, Are you taking REG tomorrow? Good luck if you are. Also, I wonder if you are making the best use of your time by being on this forum the day before your last exam.

    BEC - 75 Passed on 12/09/17

    FAR - 69, 71, 73, 83 Passed on 06/10/18

    @Clockwork I passed on my 4th attempt, so you're already ahead of me. If you made a 74 on your last go-round and feel you put in sufficient study time (i.e. didn't cut corners and maybe added on some new study materials), I think you're set. Make sure to get a good night's sleep tonight and eat a balanced breakfast in the morning. Rest is key at this point. NO MORE STUDYING! Close the books.

    On my third attempt at REG, I made a 70. On my 4th, I made a 77. 7 point jump, but it came with a lot of hard work. I added on so many materials. I was using Becker, Becker Final Review, Becker Flash Cards, Ninja MCQ, Ninja Notes, and Ninja Audio. You'd think I would've been able to make HIGHER than a 77! Ha.

    Good luck tomorrow!

    AUD - 77
    BEC - 75
    FAR - 78
    REG - 77
    Finished.  Praise be to the Almighty!

    Yeah, so found out today that I failed with a 73 on this 3rd try, so I guess I’m taking it a 4th time. I may need to do what you did @Go.For.Broke and get a bunch of supplemental materials. Not sure what else I need to do.
