Wiley Question –

Has anyone passed REG with Wiley? I am using ninja as a supplement but my main source has been Wiley. Just took BEC today and have a little bit of time to switch to something else if I need too.

Me! Reg was the first part I sat for. Used Wiley and purchased Ninja for a month just to practice more MCQs. Passed on the 1st try with an 89.

I did. Just passed with a 78 on what I would call minimal studying. I relied on Ninja heavily for other sections but for whatever reason it didnt really help me on REG. On Wiley I skipped the videos, read the text, did MCQs. I also started with tax stuff first. BLAW study materials is huge and is a time suck. Yes, you will need to know it but I'd rather nail tax first. It is probably possible to pass the exam with no blaw knowledge but you certainly couldn't pass without tax. Overall I thought Wiley REG was decent, and that's coming from someone pretty critical of Wileys review materials.

@Mfmreyhipolit did you watch the videos? I did for BEC and sometimes it helped. Just curious?

For what it's worth, I used Wiley for most and I thought REG was one of their better. I did very well on REG with Wiley. I did supplement with Ninja because I wanted to be over-prepared for my last exam, and I was. I liked being able to switch back and forth between MCQ platforms so I wouldn't gloss over staring at the same thing.

I thought Wiley was good, system issues aside, for most exams. FAR was the only one I really struggled with using them for because there were just too many lessons. The others I did well using Wiley, supplementing with Ninja. Surgent got me through FAR without a doubt.

BEC/AUD - Wiley + Ninja / FAR - Surgent / REG - Wiley/Surgent
