I have taken three exam sections, with BEC left for October. I have scored a 99 on all three of the sections I have already taken, and it has made me curious to know how common it is for someone to get four perfect scores. I tried searching on Google but couldn't find a whole lot of information. Anybody have any idea?

AH! Lol, I am so jealous. I feel like I did the exact same thing for studying, every single day for 5 weeks for BEC & I got a 74 (first exam).. I have always gotten lower scores in school on tests that were mostly/all multiple choice though so I kind of expected it.

That must be the best feeling to see how well you did. Especially after all that time spent you have a 99 in each section to show for it, thats so rewarding. Did you feel confident leaving each test?

    Good luck on another 99!

a question for you: do you think the key is not second guessing yourself………the ppl who posted here that failed most likely second guessed and doubted there answers……I might be wrong but then again…….

I think you get to sit up on the stage at the optional swearing in meeting at the state you are in……

the key is working those problems you get wrong and really understanding why…..

to answer you question it happens ………yearly not sure but atleast every two years……certain types of ppl master this exam……I do know you will get your picture in the mag…..all cpa test takers get…..most likely if you are looking for a job you will land it at top dollar if going public……industry employers I doubt will know too much about the score process just want you to have a license…..

I am not jealous at all. I'm just proud that it's the girl who did this – it's still mostly guys who do better with accounting. I changed to accounting from art history major for Christ sake…

Amanda, you are magnificent – very glad you have all these scores and I'm sure you'll score just as good on your last one. And good for you for being able to commit 30-40 hours of studying per week… i couldn't do more than 25 – it's so exhausting and… boring:-)

You go, girl! You'll probably have the most amazing career:-)

actually….both men and women are always listed…….I have never seen a year go by without a fairly equal balance…..

Joe Hoyle just emailed me some new FAR questions he came up with……

he told me to use the process of elimination on exam day but to know my material when working study quesitons………..and that is my biggest challenge…..I like working problems more then reading crap loads of boring pages……hats off to the 99er's

although I do not believe anyone who say's they got a 99 on the exam just like ppl who say they got a 74……..I would only believe it if I saw proof…….but that is the typical skeptic in me

lol Rob.. how would you like to see proof? If there is any way to prove a 74 to you, without giving you my section ID & DOB then I would be happy to prove it to you. Wish I could prove a 99 instead.. hah but all I have is a 74.

ktsullivan, you could screenprint, and e-mail him a pretty picture of it. I know it's possible about the 74's, my poor husband got a couple of them, and I'm praying that I'm not currently waiting on one for AUD.

haha you're right. I could.. I thought of that but pictures can be edited so that may not be sufficient for him. But I could do that if he'd like!

Good luck on audit! I hope you find out soon!

    Amanda-

First of all congratulations, I'm BLOWN AWAY by your scores. I hope you don't mind my asking, but are you working or are you studying full time? Have you always been an above-average test taker? Did you recently finish college and immediately begin studying for your exam?

    Much respect to you!

even if you studied all the time and were a phd in accounting, i think it would be more likely than not that you would not be stringing together back to back to back 99's on different exams. Amanda is obviously very intelligent and knows her sh*t. Amanda's study plan is foolproof for passing, yes, but 5 weeks times 30-40 hrs per week is still only 150-200hrs. i've been doing 150 hrs per section on avg, but, I think that if I studied 50+ more hrs/exam, my scores would only be 3-5 pts higher.

Amanda, please go get a certified opinion on your IQ and report back to another71.com

    3 x 99 is remarkable.

I guess I am too scared of getting a 74 that I am deluding myself into believe everyone is a liar and just wants to sound not as dumb as a 64…same goes for a 99 b/c it seems unreal to have that kind of luck on the exam…….although I did almost make a 90 on Reg…..but same deal if you know what I mean

Kind of like when people talk about nightmares of the Popobawa being the grader of their exam……

Amanda, that is awesome! As someone who has always excelled in school – I have a graduate degree in accounting with a 3.9 GPA, I can appreciate your efforts. It was very difficultfor me to accept a 78 on BEC as a good thing. I wish I could devote that much time to study, but as a single mom with 3 kids (two school aged), 2 grandkids, and working full time, there is just no way. Keep up the good work and hope you get your last 99!
