    Hey

Just wondering, what do you guys suppose the likelihood of being tested on calculating accumulated earnings tax, the details of PHC (ex. determining income calculations)? Is it usually a deeply covered topic, or more like general MCQs?

would you want to study base on the probabilities of certain things being tested? Or would you take an overall approach and study everything?

I did it. You can too!

Ok, I can agree understanding is the overall concept is a better bet.

General question regarding reducing accumulated earnings tax:

Dividends must be paid by APRIL or MARCH 15TH of next year (?) in order to be deducted in CY accumulated earnings tax?

    Becker QUESTION CPA-02060
Says they must be deducted by APRIL 15TH, but then in Becker notes, it says “DURING TAX YEAR WITHIN 3 1/2 MONTHS” –> March 15th?

March 15th would only be 2.5 months.

lmao..well first the accumulated earnings tax is self assessed you likely youll never see this.

Second off you have about a 0.00000000000000001% chance of being tested on it.

PHC and aet are not going to be tested..and if they are its be on 1 exam in 100

LEarn the stuff that is applicable to everyday accounting..learn the core concepts and know them well..like 90% and youll be okay..the fluff is tested here or there but guess..

Most of it youll never need to know anyways..

like the majority of CPA firms are cash basis and deal with 1120-s and 1065 or 8825 llc clients that give you BS #'s anyways

Adam, thank you for the reply.

I don't know why I am getting anxiety like this, the fear of over looking things. I like your logic though. I probably also need a xanax lol
