Physically sit for section in a different state

    Hey guys,

    I currently live in Illinois and have sat for two sections of the CPA exam already.
    I will be moving to California in a couple months and was wondering if i would still be able to finish the test in California and if/when i pass will i receive my license in Illinois?

    Yes. The exam can be taken anywhere as long as it's the Uniform CPA Exam. I've sat CPA exams in 3 different states.

    AUD - 81
    BEC - 83
    FAR - 83
    REG - 84
    CPA
