I know there are a lot of people on here that don’t like those who try to get the Elijah Watt Sells award, so please don’t hate me. I need your input. I am scheduled to take AUD at the end of this testing period and I do not feel ready.

I have taken BEC (99), REG (98), and FAR (96) and I need a 91 on AUD to get the award. I have already gone through all the Becker material (multiple choice questions twice) and all the final review videos. But I keep getting around an 85% average. And, most of all, I am SO nervous for this test. What last minute things helped you with the AUD exam that I need to make sure I have down before I take it? Thank you all in advance!

AICPA sample test is a must. Preferably at least twice.
I think an 89 or 90 to be safe will get you to your goal. I think you just need 95.5 average, or over 95.5 can't remember the exact wording.
Know your way around and through the audit, from planning to procedures.
Remember audit is subjective, there might be more than one right answer but you need the BEST right answer.
Use your test taking skills. Eliminate 2 of the possible 4 answers right off the bat, then pick the best answer from the 2 you have left.
If I could pull an 88 with 3 weeks of study with no audit experience, I am sure you will be fine based on your other scores.
Don't hype yourself up too much, its just another test. Get in and get out, do your best.
You can use AL on the SIMs, but be careful not to waste too much time. Time management is crucial, watch that clock.

Hi, I'm in a similar boat as you, but am working on bec towards the award. I'm confident in my ability for the MCQ and Sims to get the needed score, but I'm not much of a writer. Since you scored a 99 I was hoping you could share your general approach for the WC and the exam in general. I know it's computer scored, but I just don't like the ambiguity around it so any advice you have would be appreciated!! I sit on Jan 11 so I have a good amount of time to prepare for it as well.

the mnemonics helped me the most. MR DIM REPORRTS CRAME Management is Responsible for the Design, Implementation and Maintenance of….and all the others. I wrote those out on flashcards and that helped me a LOT in the test itself. while I didn't score anywhere near where yours are, a respectable 83 on Audit isn't anything to discount either.

    BEC - 8/8/16
    REG - 66, 77
    AUD - 81
    FAR - 9/8/16

Visualize your preparation and visualize your execution. Then do it.

    AUD - 75
    BEC - 83
    FAR - 85
    REG - 84
