So this exam also tries to trick people by specifying to insert zeros or to leave blank.

    Pay attention to that!!

I didn’t read the instructions during audit and that might have contributed to my failure.

Just putting this out there to help someone.

It takes less than 2 seconds to glance at the instructions 🙂

This is an area I wish they had conformity on. Either all tests require zeros or be left blank. Just pick one and make it the standard.

Ya I noticed on my FAR exam some required 0s and others blank. One didnt clarify so I left it blank and left them a note in the post-exam survey.

    @Trele6

They seem to also be testing attention to detail in the exam. Hence, the reason for the different instructions.

@Superdude3000 You seem really confident about FAR, read your post on another thread.

I took mine in August and really scared.

I'm fairly confident, but I absolutely missed some things. I've left thinking I failed each and every exam, even this one but at this point after all my exam score releases I've realized I know more than I need to so I'm gonna try something different and assume I passed to reduce the stress of the score release. We'll see, best of luck to both of us!

Can I ask why you don't feel very confident?

@Superdude3000 First, I really like your scores.

I will appreciate if you can provide some insights concerning AUDIT. I took it in April and scored a 67. My goal is to make 85 or above the next time I will take it as I am putting in over 8 hours daily to study.

But regarding FAR, I am only fully confident about 3 sims, partially confident about 2 and not confident about 3. I didn't run out of time but had to guess. Just hoping for a 75 on this one. I felt better coming out of FAR than I did for AUD so that's good, I guess.

For audit I think the MC is the easiest so if you practice them A LOT then you've got easy points. Also use process of elimination, much easier with audot since it's all conceptual. As for sims just think as logically as you can (duh). What I mean is I was very taken aback by how subjective the sims were – many different answers seemed right, but I remained calm and I just tried to pick the most logical answers. I know that isnt very helpful but that's all I did and I was able to pass. Also, ALWAYS USE THE AL!!! I found help for two different sims in the AL for non-research sims. If you're ever unsure just spend a few minutes lookong through it and you never know, you could find some help there.

    agree with queen's first post.

If a huge part of our job is going to be attention to detail, why wouldn't they want to make sure you're reading the instructions and following directions?

If you skim the directions- like somebody said it takes two seconds, you'll know what they want.

Like putting your name on the SAT- got you what 200 points? If only we got that much credit for zeroes. The research question can be a layup sometimes though!
