Random post but thought it’d be nice to get a break. Happy Friday everyone! As cooler temperatures are approaching, I realize it’s easier to study in the Fall and Winter. I live in the Valley in LA where temp are 95+ and it’s unbearable to study. Also, have a pool and it’s torture to look at it in that heat and not have the time to swim and enjoy it. In cooler temps people stay in more, sweats cover CPA weight gain, and it just seems cozier in the house. Only downside is studying through Thanksgiving, Xmas, and NYE. Hoping to be done by Xmas this year. Do you guys have a preference?

It took me about 15 months to finish the CPA exam and I remember liking it way more when it was winter time – I felt like I was missing out on less. I also live in SoCal so with the shorter days and worse weather it seemed to put my mind at ease haha. Summer was hard to focus and that is when it seemed like my friends/family were ALWAYS doing fun things that I missed out on.

I live on the ocean in Massachusetts so studying in the summer is very difficult. The other three seasons are much easier.

Studying during football season is brutal, I like to get 4-8 hours each weekend day for studying but FOMO on Sundays is killing me. I take AUD on the 27th of November so at least I get December and playoffs… but still…
