I’ve passed 3 sections, but need to begin job searching as I’m moving in Dec due to a relocation for my husband to start grad school. After taking my 4th section Nov 2nd, I still need to do the ethics test and then take a 3 credit class to complete my 150 credit hours.

I know I can’t say that I have my CPA license yet, but can I somehow give myself credit for the 3 sections I’ve passed on my resume? Also, is this going to benefit me in my job searching or will employers just think “well she doesn’t have her CPA license”? Thanks in advance.

    AUD - 83
    BEC - 76

I've seen “currently sitting for her/his CPA” on bios on CPA firm websites before…

    FAR - 9/8/16

I add it to my resume and say “passed 3 of 4 CPA exams”
Worked well for me, everyone has been impressed.

    BEC - 78
    AUD - 75
    REG - 64, 77
    FAR - 73, 73, 73, 82

    Finally done after 23 months.

CPA IN PROGRESS – “STATE” BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY

FAR: Passed “Date” REG: Passed “Date” BEC: Passed “Date” AUD: Scheduled “Date”

You can try something like this, just format it to match the rest of your resume.
