    Hello!

I will begin my CPA journey, sadly, after the 2017 format implementation. Please help and suggest me the orders of which section I should take first.

I am currently enrolled in 18 credit hours and will graduate in May 2017. That being said, I believe I am still able to set aside 10-15 spare hours a week to study for my first section in April.

My goal is to take all 4 sections during the time frame April 2017 – August 2017. I know for sure I would like to reserve FAR from May to June (black out) to study as I’ll have the most time then.

    Thank you!

Thinking back, I wished I took it in this order, which I think almost everyone recommends. But FAR-AUD-REG-BEC.

I was against that order but I do feel that it's the most effective. A LOT of concepts are built from FAR on AUD. Journal entries, especially when you receive it as a SIM on AUD. Now with the new exam changes, I expect a stronger emphasis on the Ethics portion in REG, which would help if you've taken AUD before that. BEC as last is a good choice only that it builds on several topics you've touched from the other 3. More so on REG, since there's a lot of laws in there.

My order was BEC-FAR-AUD-REG. I did that BECAUSE I was really hoping for an easy first pass, which I lucked out on. It definitely didn't prepare me for FAR though because it was such a wake-up call for my first fail. Good luck!!

    AUD - 83
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 83
    REG - 78
    BEC - 80 (Roger + NINJA MCQ + WTB)

    FAR - 72; 83 (Roger + NINJA MCQ)

    AUD - 83 (Roger + NINJA MCQ + WTB)

    REG - 52; 78 (Roger + NINJA MCQ)

    Ethics - 68, 96 (how I dislike you)

    BEC 80 (10/23/15)
    FAR 72 (4/2/15); 83 (7/11/16)
    REG 52 (4/28/15)
    AUD (9/9/16)

It doesn't matter. Just do FAR before AUD. I just did FAR lectures while I was studying for my final AUD take and my score jumped up from a 72 to 90 by understanding more of the basic concepts from FAR.

    AUD - 90
    BEC - 79
    FAR - 86
    REG - 81
    Licensed CPA - Tennessee

    Finished Exams in December 2016

    REG - 81

    AUD - 74, 72, 90

    BEC - 79

    FAR - 86

start with FAR… it's the gatekeeper IMO

it was true before the Q2 changes, and im sure it will still be true afterwards.

a few of my friends started with the “easier sections” (bec and aud), and kept getting smacked by FAR until they lost their credits.

    AUD - 80
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 77
    REG - 79

I agree with Mitch, but I recommend you to not take FAR first and burned out especially you have 18 credits this semester, so I would suggest to take it in this order: REG FAR AUD BEC

    Done!
