Rather unsure what to think

Alright, took REG yesterday, and here’s how it went:

    1st testlet- Flagged and/or missed 2
2nd testlet- More difficult, flagged like 8-10, think I may have missed 6-8 of those
3rd testlet- Seemed medium like testlet 1, flagged 4

Sims- Walked straight into my hands, I think I did well on all of them, confident of getting the research right, of doing perfect or almost so on 3 of the others, in the 70% range on one of them, and maybe in the 60% range on one of them.

Overall I feel very confident, but I am concerned as to whether a bad testlet 2 (like, only getting 60% of it right and assuming all the pre-test questions were stuff I got right, so 12/20 with this conservative/pessimistic line of thinking) is enough to still sink the ship given what I’ve described.

    Any thoughts?

    Here's a thought:

Speculation of one's score after the fact like is a useless exercise.

What's done is done, and I hope you passed. 🙂

By looking at your other scores, I wouldn't be worried. What review course are you using?

I use Gleim and Ninja MCQ…. for AUD, BEC, and FAR (which I haven't gotten back yet but feel very good about, get it back on the 16th) I studied for almost 3 months per section (BEC being an exception, studied for it for about 1 month).

I like those two since from what I've read they are the two hardest test banks on the market…. also have Wiley Test Bank and their study guides but they word their questions wierdly compared to Gleim and Ninja MCQ….

Studied for 3-4 weeks for REG because I wanted to get this stuff all out of the way and not have to scream my head off every time I get a question wrong on my review courses (when I start getting a string of questions wrong, I quickly start raging, sort of like someone losing on a video game).

Did you spend much time on blaw? I am using Wiley cap excel and it's a lot of material for blaw and I feel like I may be spending too much time on it when I should be focusing on tax.

Jeff made a video a month ago saying that you need to be as diligent with BLAW as you would be with tax.

My advice, similar to his, is to know everything inside and out. This advice would apply to all 4 sections.

is this post serious? you basically said you dominated the exam, and you want random people to assess your chance of passing??? And you got a 99 and 94 already???? Wtf????

I'm basically asking/wondering about if a super-bad testlet 2 (like missing almost half) is bad enough to sink an attempt even with good performance on the other parts.

Not meaning to troll. I'll admit I am a worry wart when it comes to these things. I've always stressed about tests.

OK…well, my advise is uniform. Forget you took the exam, and move on to the next. The grading system is so f!#!ed up, and you can't change the past.

But, in your case, you got a 92. Onto the next.

Rotfl…I gotta agree with Ryan. Based on what you described (domination of the exam) and your past scores I think you should take a xanax and sleep well at night
