    Hey all,

I took Reg this quarter, waiting for the score release on 12/10. I found the mcq’s slightly more intense and maybe even difficult than some of the other sections that I’ve faced (I don’t know if thats normal). The sims were ok (I messed up on the easy ones, but held my own on difficult ones).

    My questions for everyone is:
    1. How did you find the multiple choice?
    2. How did you find the simulations?
    3. Did anyone else get their research question wrong like myself?

I found the MCQ to be much more challenging than FAR (passed far with an 81), but found the sims to be much easier than FAR. Was not prepared for the amount of individual/blaw questions I got. However, the strengths I did have was for the corporate/partnership side of things which was a lotttt of my sims. The sims felt like I could 100% get about 65-70% of them right, but then have to take an educated guess on the rest of it. With FAR I felt like most sims were more all or nothing, at least for me. Just hoping I got enough MCQ right and actually did well on the sims and I am not just having false hope. Feel like I either completely bombed this one or got another low 80ish.

I had ZERO hope that I passed. I only studied for 2 1/2 weeks peak busy season because I work in SALT and most of my deadlines are 11/15 (I do NOT recommend this approach). I felt GREAT going into the exam, but walking out I wouldn't have been shocked if I got a 60%. I now firmly believe that if you just put in the time, the honest effort, and as soon as you find the method that works for you, these exams are not awful. I do have a theory though that studying too long for these exams can be detrimental. I spent over 2 months studying for FAR and that was the only exam I had to retake because I started to forget the stuff from earlier chapters and kept playing catch up with every chapter.
