So I have already completed the Becker course for REG and my exam is in three weeks from tomorrow and I am freaking out about not remembering anything. I even bought the NINJA notes and rewrote them. Now I am trying to do MCQ for NINJA and some of these questions are over different concepts than the notes and Becker. There were questions about the House Ways and Means committee and FIFO. Is this material fair game for the exam? Or are the NINJA MCQ not updated?

All I will say it is fair game.. And those are the easy points people miss that is the difference between a 74 and a 75..

@slt94 – I had a similar scenario except with the FAR materials. I went through Becker then switched to NINJA MCQs. When I went to NINJA, I was scoring incredibly low and it was very discouraging. It seemed like I was studying different topics because there was not a ton of overlap. After several days the NINJA material started clicking for me.

IDK if this is true, but I think Becker focused more on big picture items and areas with the highest possibility of testing. Olinto says “here are some low lying fruit items” and it seemed like all of my exams have been low lying fruit items. I remember I put so much time into studying the areas they said “THIS WILL BE TESTED” and over half the time, I either didn't see any of those questions or only saw one.

I think the exams are so comprehensive, it's just hard saying…

I'm going to be the person who says "I finished even though..." not the person who says "I didn't finish because..."

Thanks for the replies! I was just surprised to see questions over things that I have not seen in my CPA exam studies, thankfully I took Advanced Business Law and Federal Tax Research in college so I am somewhat familiar. I always end up getting questions when I take the exam though that Becker didn't teach and never have questions over what I am expecting!
