Took my exam today after failing in Q3 with a 74. In q3 my second teslet got easier as well and i thought i did terrible on the sims, but ended up getting comparable on that..

THis time around, the mcq got easier on the second teslet but I felt as if i absolutely destroyed the sims. I really understood them and got them correct this time it feels like.

Has anyone ever gotten an easier set of mcq on second teslet and still passed?

What if I’m well-prepared but do poorly on the first testlet? Can I still pass?
Yes, a candidate can still pass the Examination but will need to do better on the second testlet; and that is just the MCQ portion. Fifty percent of a candidate’s score comes from the TBSs in the AUD, FAR and REG sections while 35% comes from TBS and 15% from written communication tasks in BEC.

It's straight from the AICPA mouth. How much more accurate can that get?

Unless you work for the AICPA, who the hell know what they deem as ‘easier' or ‘harder'? What is done is done. No point in worrying about it now.

I went through a similar experience with REG. Took it the first time, thought MCQs were all the same and the SIMS were hard, got a 74. Took it again, thought all the MCQs were easy again but thought I did really well on the SIMS, got a 85.

I bet you passed. If you were that close the first time and feel that you knew more going into it the second time, then it will usually work out for you.

I thought the second testlet in REG was way easier than the first and it made me worried just like you, but I crushed it with an 89. You passed.

This is the same thing that happened to me on BEC. The first teller was massively number questions. I felt I did fine, but the second test let got easier. Not sure what’s going on.
