NINJA Question –

I just purchased the Ninja Sniper for REG and wondering if there is outdated material in the Ninja Plus that I should be aware of since the videos are quite old? I have previously passed REG which expired on 1/2/17 and hoping to pass REG and be finished once and for all in December.

For being an exam about 60% tax law, REG is largely conceptual. The AICPA doesn't change the exam database with every whim of congress.

Just took 2017 Q3 REG, I agree with Jeff. Got even in the 50s even just reading my notes briefly. Not recommended of course. It was more like an experiment, knowing what's in the exam.

My old notes are nowhere close to the newer Ninja notes and the Ninja book. Yes, most asked in the 2017 Q3 exams are in the Ninja notes and Ninja book. Not as much calculations on 2017 Q3 REG (-50%) compared to 2017 Q3 FAR (80+%). I would be doing MCQs/SIMs for my 2017 Q4 REG though, for better time management.

Being a Canadian, most asked questions in 2017 Q3 are mostly foreign to me, but doable. Passed REG in 2008. I always like the area of taxes, either Canadian, American, or Philippines taxation for that matter.
