Hey guys. Looking for some advice on how to best prepare for REG.
I took FAR in Nov. and AUD in December and passed both.
I just started going through the REG book and there seems to be a lot of information and small nuances. For those of you ho have passed the exam, how did you study and did you feel like you needed to know all these small facts?
I was planning on taking 5 weeks; 2 Becker chapters a week + 1 week for review (Same strategy I used for FAR and AUD).

Any Advice is helpful. Thanks in advance.

    FAR - 81
    AUD - 79
    REG - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training

You're fine. The nuances you need to know will show up in MCQ. Timeline is accurate, if you want to score 99, six weeks and a 2 week review.

As I look back on it, knowing all the itemized deductions is nice but not necessary. Should you? Sure. But the important thing is: some are phased out, it's after deducted from AGI, and affects taxable income.

Ask yourself: is this a big topic, is it specifically mentioned in the blueprint and to what detail, does it help me rationalize the MCQ?

Trial and error is the name of the game. Again, you'll be fine.

    Good luck!

    AUD - 75
    BEC - 83
    FAR - 85
    REG - 84

I've had more success by going all the way through the study material more quickly (maybe a week or so even if my understanding on some of the topics was a bit lacking), then using 3-4 weeks to do nothing but test questions and review notes I made while reading the book and watching lectures. But, everyone needs to figure out what works best for them. You passed FAR and I don't consider REG as complex or broad, so a similar strategy to what you used for FAR should work fine for REG.

    AUD - 95
    BEC - 87
    FAR - 84
    REG - 90

Non stop MCQ really helped me. There were really a lot of information to absorb and memorize, but doing MCQ and Listened to Ninja audio helped. REG is the section where I studied the longest but scored the lowest.. good luck!!

    Don't give up
