    Hello all,

Taking REG this quarter! Assuming I pass AUD/BEC I took in Q2, REG is going to be the last section to study for. Let's start strong and finish strong!

I'm taking REG on August 31st! It's my 2nd try at it…REG was my first CPA exam and I ran out of time and failed (BOO!). I'm anxiously awaiting my FAR retake score on June 27th, and if I don't pass I will be taking FAR this quarter, too.

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 75
    REG - 86
California Licensed CPA as of August 19th, 2019!

@Big4. I like how you think!! I purchased a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila in January as an incentive for passing ALL my exams in Q2. I'm hoping to crack that open in a few weeks.

How's you preparation going for REG? I initially was only going to take Saturday and Sunday off after taking BEC this past Friday but then I also took Monday and Tuesday off too. I have to get back on the wagon!

    Hey Everyone,

I scheduled REG for July 20, studying using Becker and NINJA. REG seems like its got a ton of information all over the place.

@PDiddy2000 – I haven't started studying for REG yet. Giving myself a little more break before I jump back on the horse.

I used wiley and becker for REG last quarter and Becker was hands down better for me. I thought the multiple choice questions were better and really enjoyed the lecturers compared to anything wiley has offered.

That being said, I dont think you can go that wrong with any of the major brands. They are all covering the same material.

I'm joining this thread in case I have to retake REG in Q3 (Prayer begins today!)

    AUD - 83
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 78
    REG - 92

I am taking REG on August 4 and am using Wiley and Ninja to study (haven't purchased Ninja yet – waiting until it's just a month out from my exam). After taking two exams (waiting for AUD score currently) I am DEEP in the throes of “I don't wanna” and burnout. Somehow every evening after work I keep dragging myself back to the computer to study but it gets harder and harder every day. Crying has happened several times over the past two weeks. I just keep telling myself to put maximum effort in now in hopes that I will be completely done with all exams before Thanksgiving. I absolutely do not want to go into another holiday season of studying.

Failing the CPA Exam has nothing to do with intelligence.

    It's all about perseverance.

There are people who passed all four sections the first time that you wouldn't want running a company.

Similarly – there are struggling CPA candidates, still scrapping, still in the fight, who barely make it out of the CPA Exam alive – who are future CEOs.

It has nothing to do with how “smart” you are.

@panders I've been there. especially trying to squeeze in my BEC exam before the Q2 testing window closed. Keep your head up and press forward. Plan day breaks if you need them. Setup study milestones and reward yourself when you meet them. Always remember that there's someone somewhere struggling to stay in engaged with preparing for the CPA exams like you. For example, me. Ha! You got this!!
