Never took me more then a couple days tops to get an NTS, sometimes within 24 hours. Seems something is off, maybe call NASBA?

@maxb how about the application itself to get processed and approved before paying the fees of exam sections?
Before April 2017 it took them 3 days , I don't know about the new rules

You only do that once, the application initially to be able to sit for the cpa. You can sit with 120 credits. You don't reapply every time you want to sit for the exam. Just get a new NTS. Good luck!

How do u do that? U never pay a new repeat application? Since each application allows 2 exam sections only

I think you are a bit confused, I've never heard of a two test per application limit. This isn't even a state issue like ur initial posts mentions, it's a NASBA issue, they deal with testing not the states. Go to nasba' site and get a new notice to schedule (NTS). The site sucks so play around with the tabs a bit, you'll figure it out.

I tried to post earlier but it didn't go through for some reason. Sometimes you have to call the state board to get things rolling. I re-applied in Virginia on Friday and NOthing, called the Board of Accountancy today and had my coupon within 5 minutes.

Lamis: I know exactly what you're talking about. I always found that CA CBA took a long time to approve the application. I remember this one time where it took them about 4 weeks to approve it, probably a bit longer.
