Rescheduling for AUD Retake

    Hi all!

I just found out I failed AUD yesterday, and I’ve been doing a lot of reorganization of my CPA study plan. I am already planning to take BEC in mid-January and my FAR retake in March. Does it sound unreasonable to squeeze AUD in somewhere in February? I work full time, which leaves about two hours to study during the week and 6-8 hours on weekends. Does this seem possible?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Are you currently studying for BEC? If so, how long have you been studying for it and do you feel comfortable with the material? Personally, I think anything is possible. Some people take all 4 exams in one window, so I know it can be done. However, you have to know what is feasible for you. Do you think you can do it? I see that you've taken FAR before and now AUD…this sounds like you have some knowledge of the two already. I'm thinking that since you're not completely “brand new” to the material it may be doable. BUT, only you will know for sure. I say…go for it if you really want to. All things are possible. As for me, I'm studying for AUD and hope to test in Jan for it. I'm focused on conquering one beast at a time because the review materials and the cost of the exam are enough to make me take my time and ensure I'm ready. I failed BEC with a 73 earlier this year trying to rush when I wasn't ready and it was a major setback for me (talking about a blow to my ego and my pockets LOL). Whatever you decide…you know what you can handle…good luck!

Do NOT quit! There's more in you and if you quit you'll never see it. Show you that you can do it.

    AUD PassedĀ  78
    BEC PassedĀ  79
    FAR PassedĀ  77
    REG Passed 76

I'm tired of operating in fear and mediocrity. It's time to try. It's time to do. It's time to go.

@KGREEN37 – Thank you, that makes a lot of sense. I'd love to get all my retakes out of the way before the change so that I don't have to restudy them. But I also feel like I shouldn't rush it because then I'm just burning money and time away. Ideally I would want to take AUD in mid-February, but I have to wait to find out if there are any seats still. So if I could take the test then, my next question is really is it a good idea to take 3-4 weeks to restudy for AUD and another 3-4 weeks to study for FAR?
