Retaking BEC in Q2

Is anyone looking forward to (I use that term very loosely) taking the new BEC format? I took BEC in January and hoped I wouldn’t have to retake it in Q2. Well, that didn’t work out as planned but after thinking about it, I think it might be good (at least for me) to take a different format. I seem to second guess myself on MCQ a lot so I think the new exam that allocates less points to MCQ might work out better for me. Anyone else in the same situation?

    BEC - 86
    FAR - 75
    REG - 77
No need to worry, my accountant handles that.

I haven't take BEC yet, (21 days) but I thought about it as well. I think I have spent more time on the excitement of the new format than really focusing on the current one. In the latest pod cast, jeff says the concepts are the same, the studying is the same (provided we know how to study), just the time length, the sims, and the extra cost is different. He said a few other things as well, I think it's still available if you want to listen. But either way, I am just going to diligently study and get this over with what ever the format. Really, hands on is the way (old) way I learned Accounting, through practice sets, not too many questions. I think I retained the information better by applying instead of writing papers or mcq's. I know I am real old school, even though I am not that old. Good luck to you and study hard we're in it with you.

    Not in any sense!

I would, however, rather take the new version than the current version.

I've gotten my fair share of 74s (plural) and think sims would help boost my score.

Still waiting for my score, so I hope not to have to take it, but am glad it is changing in case I need to retake this test.

Even when winning is illogical, losing still far form optional.

Wow, hope you pass for the sake of being done. But I don't think anyone has really voiced preferring to take the new over the old. I don't care, I have failed enough…I know the problem is studying consistently so I guess getting that done will help me pass any section….lol
