Retaking exam in Q3

Yes yes, I know everyone is eagerly waiting and hopefully passing the exam. However, I think it’s always good to be conservative and prepared for worst case scenario.

Is it possible to retake the exam in Q3 ? Seeing there is limited time from the release day to Sep 10 which I believe is the last day to sit for.

My BEC and REG expire on Oct 30, and I still have AUD and FAR left to finish. I took Audit in Q2, and will be taking FAR 1 week from today. So, realistically, I have 2 chances left. In the event I failed both, is there a way to beg the Illinois board for another chance? You know, using the score delay as an excuse and what not.

Thank you all. I wish you all good luck on August 15.

Emiya, you may want to check in with state board and see if they are extending it. I have FAR and AUD left too (if AUD was a fail). BEC also dropping in OCT for me. My state board have told me they will review my case but I think the chance is slim because I have 2 exam instead of 1 where it prob would have jeopardize my retake.. Who knows.

If u r in IL I think that is the state that has granted an extension to DEC. So u have until then to pass both! Good luck. I wanna pass by DEC as well just so I can get a bonus otherwise Im stuck with eating all the cost 🙁

BEC- PASS (Expiring in DEC 2017)

    REG- PASS (Expiring Feb 2018)

    AUD- PASS (Expiring Oct 2018)

    FAR- 65, 60, 59, 77!!! -GOD BLESS

If I can do it, anyone can do it!

@IwannabeaCPA: Hey man, you're in the exact same spot as me. In our cases, we realistically have 2 chances left once this Q3, and the score will be released in Sep 22, which will give us enough time to review and retake that part on Oct 29.

As this is the case, I think it doesn't really matter if the credit is extended to December or not. Now if it was extended to January, that would give us another chance should we, unfortunately, fail twice.

With that said, lets hold hand and hope we don't have to deal with AUD anymore.
