Have you used either program yet? I have used Becker for REG, AUD, and BEC and Roger for FAR. While I think Roger's videos are more engaging, the MCQs in Becker are better. Do you learn better by watching videos, by reading the material or by MCQs?

    AUD - 77
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 80
    REG - 77

Ditto what CJC14 said. I used both and he's spot on. Lectures are better in Rogers but Becker has the better bank of questions. Not by much though, probably 10-20% more questions.

    REG - 92 (1/17)

    BEC - 82 (2/17)

    AUD - 89 (5/17)

    FAR - 94 (9/17)

Rogers Elite + Becker mcqs/sims for all 4 exams

    WA State Ethics Exam - 83, 83, 90 (9/17)

    AICPA Ethics Exam - 95 (9/17)

    1-year of work - complete (11/18)

Another Roger user here, Roger's lukewarm IPQ is easily replaced by the $47 Ninja MCQ. You will be sufficiently challenged!

Roger wasn't as good for FAR as I'd hoped. It might've been because of that, that I didn't pass FAR. I think I was weak in quite a few areas that a better review course would've prepared me for.
At this point I'm almost inclined to say that Gleim is worth purchasing for all four sections, including REG. It's more concise and the format is more “outline” whereas Roger is often just paragraphs and paragraphs of extensive discussion. I have all of Gleim's textbooks. I'd look into Gleim if I were you. See if you can get a preview of it before buying, IF they do sell each part individually.

I feel like Roger doesn't go into enough detail for REG. I haven't tried Becker yet, but it is known for going into a ton of detail.

I like Roger's videos and I do like the MCQ more than most people. But, I'd say his textbooks need some work. The one for FAR didn't agree with me at all and I just found myself frustrated a lot of the time. I got thru the MCQ and SIMs ok, but for most topics I didn't feel secure and ended up re-reading parts of my old advanced and intermediate accounting textbooks, especially for Government and Nonprofit.

I passed FAR and BEC with an 80 and 79. I just got my score back last Wednesday on REG and I failed it with a 72. For FAR and BEC I used Wiley books and Wiley Test Banks. For REG I used Wiley books and test bank and also Ninja MCQ. I got away with just reading for FAR and BEC but REG was a different story. I feel like I need an actual course that teaches me the material for REG, because I only had one college course on Taxation and it was for individuals. I learn best by working problems, but recently I watched some of Roger's videos and they really helped me a lot. I spent too much of my time on small details for REG that were never even mentioned on the actual exam.

I used Roger on all 4 parts. I had access to the Becker final review for them too. I don't see how Becker would be better in their full class.

I also thought REG was Roger's best.

I am a big Roger advocate. I am taking all 4 parts using just Rogers in one window while working full-time, and so far, it is working. Passed the 3 within less than 2 months, and studying for the last one.

I am not going to say Roger is the best or Roger is better than anything, because I haven't used anything else. But I do recommend Roger

Working full-time and taking all 4 parts in one window.

If I can do it, you all can too.

Maybe consider purchasing Ninja notes (Ten Point Combo) as a refresher. You are so close with your score! I got a 73 in FAR and purchased the notes and I believe they are what pushed me to an 80 for my retake. Just a thought…

I have Roger. I used it for AUD and passed. Used it for BEC but Im not sure what the results are since I just took it today.

Ive viewed a few becker lectures and didnt like them at all. I liked Rogers lectures better. For BEC, I did purchase the FLASHCARDS for my iphone and LOVED THEM. They came out with only 1 1/2 until my test but Im betting that my score would have been easily 10 points lower if it wasnt for those flashcards.
I think when I retake BEC ( yeah I think I still failed ) Im going to get Ninja MCQ

    AUD - 78
    BEC - 85
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training
    AUD - 78

BEC - Result: Test Date 02/28/2017

    REG - Result: Unscheduled

    FAR- Result: Unscheduled

Another Rodger advocate here. Used him exclusively for all four parts and passed them on the first try. You can't go wrong with him. However, I think learning style and study efficiency is more important than the material itself though.
