    How are the score for the exams computed is it 1 mark per question for the MCQ? and for the SIM is it based on getting all the parts to a question correct or partial grading for the correct answers per question.

    The questions are weighted. There are (at least) two categories of questions, “medium” and “hard” (something like that) and the harder ones are worth more.

    I believe you can get partial credit for the SIMs, that it is not all or nothing. Check out this:

    Just get as many questions correct as possible. Just answer as much of the SIMs as possible. There isn't a person outside of the AICPA that understands how the exam is completely scored. Just know this, they don't expect you to get everything correct.

    I heard they just throw darts at a dartboard!

    {R: PASSED!! (I passed one!)}
    {B: PASSED!! (Halfway there!)}
    {F: PASSED!! (1 left!!!)}
    {A: PASSED(I am done!!)}
