sept 10 testing date- Prometric

I know a thread was started about how prometric sent an email about sept 10 sunday being available for certain prometric locations.

However, my question is somewhat different. I live in DC area and checked like 5 locations and ALL THE SEPTEMBER slots are not available. I just checked 2 days ago and each location of the 5 locations had at least 3 days open in SEPT.

Does anyone have the same situation in other parts of the country? Are they blacked out b/c they are waiting for score release and will re-open SEPT? I did not test in Q2 so I am not waiting for any scores today/tomorrow. I just want to sign up for AUD on SEPT 10.

Don’t you have to wait 48 hours before signing up again if you fail a part? Then it takes up to 5 days to get an NTS (usually I get an NTS in 2 days). So for the people who fail in Q2 they may not be able to sign up at Prometric for potentially worst case 7 days after today/tomorrow score release ? I am just trying to “beat the rush” and sign up before those that failed in Q2 (hopefully you guys all pass though 🙂

Keep checking. I see availability in Bethesda and D.C. for AUD in September, but none on the 10th.

thanks Cara- I just saw 2 dates open up in Sept in Bethesda (my first choice location to take it).

But nothing for the 10th as you stated. I might just wait it out…the 2 extra days of study is critical.

AICPA is using a marketing technique to try to squeeze us for every dollar possible. I'm assuming there are barely any slots available on the 10th and maybe a few in early September. But, it never hurts to check and I could be wrong.

    Goodluck.

not sure about your area, but with less than a month to any testing date available in September i might be inclined to take what you can get at this point…

Didn't they send another email earlier to say that people who failed in Q2, despite of delayed score release, will have opportunities to sit in Q3? It is so frustrating.
