Should I Take AUD first instead?

I noticed that my Wiley FAR book increased from 920s pages 2016 version to 1300pages 2017 version. My last day to take the exam is 8/22. Originally, I planned to take it by the end of May or beginning of June.

I skimmed through 2/5 of the course so far and will do so for the best by 5/2 for the prep class in the subject in my school. I will only have two classes in the summer. Do you think I can be ready by the exam day?

Actually, I have an option which is to apply AUD and REG now and take AUD first and postpone FAR. So far, I think I have prepared AUD better than FAR due to the advanced audit class I am taking. So do you think it is a better plan?

Thank you for taking time and answer my question in advance.

REG isn't exactly easy, but FAR is crazy hard. I took six months to study for it and got a 75, but I was trying to do it on the cheap – just MCQ and an old textbook. Since then I've done ten-point combo for everything. In your situation, I would take FAR in August since your light load over the summer gives you time to study.

Thank you Michael! Yeah, I know FAR is not easy. So I should take AUD after my FAR then. I only concern I may forget quit a lot of the contents by then that are somewhat fresh in my brain now.

I have heard FAR is helpful for concepts in AUD, however, I had my AUD exam 2 weeks ago prior to FAR and it is doable!! Some questions were related to the FAR contents but I knew enough to figure (reason) out the question. My biggest piece of advice: Do not underestimate Audit! Hope this helps.

    AUD - 86
    BEC - 84
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - 86
    One step at a time.
