Should you tell public accounting firm you are interested in taking CFA exams.

I graduated in may 2016 and have passed all four sections of the CPA exam. I start at a big 10 public accounting firm in a month and I was wondering if I should tell them that I am interested in taking the CFA exams? Has anyone been in the same position? Please share your thoughts.

My overall goal is to work in public accounting for a few years then transfer out to a finance position.

I told my supervisor I was interested in taking the CFE exams and he was more than supportive. I don't see why anyone would discourage someone from obtaining additional certifications. You incharge of your personal growth at the end of the day 🙂 goodluck!
