I am taking REG on the 9th next month in order to get it done before the CPA changes.
I’m using becker for the most part and just purchased Ninja MCQ mainly for the sims. one complaint I’ve heard about Becker is the Sims are easier than the actual exam.

Along with the final review is there any advice someone could provide on how to master the material and be ninja ready?

Wow if Becker SIMs are easier than actual, I'm screwed cuz I think they are pretty tough.

I am in the same boat. Taking it on the 3/9, and it will be my last one.

Working full-time and taking all 4 parts in one window.

If I can do it, you all can too.

I've got it on 3/6. Provided I can pass it, I'll be done.

    – Kudos for 3 passing scores and all in a month! I don't know how you did it.

Maybe it's because I'm a tax accountant, but I thought my sims were super easy. Everything you need for the sims will be in the AL. Know how the AL is laid out and you will be fine. Just leave yourself enough time to double check your sims.

Nathalia, did you practice the Sims anywhere?

I also feel that REG is overall easier for me due to my Master's in Taxation, but even then, still challenging.

@Nathalia -What would you say one needs to know about the authoritative literature, and how can we prepare to use it? How did you personally use it for SIM help? My only experience has been searching for practice research questions :/

I wouldn't say every answer for the REG SIMS will be in the AL, but it definitely helped me get / validate that three of my SIMs were correct.

The tax code is the code. So if you get questions asking about stuff that is allowable or not, the code will tell you, you just need to ensure you can search properly. It will be there. You might need extra time to search around. It's not always the first result returned.
