Taking the exam completely unprepared?

So my NTS is gonna expire in 7 days, and I haven’t read ANYTHING yet. Judging from my REG experience, I thing it would be a good idea if I briefly go through the book and take the exam anyway just to see how different it can be from Becker. The question is: will be there any loss if I get a 0?

I don't think you'll get a good idea of how it can be different from Becker when you haven't worked any MCQs or SIMs in Becker yet.

If you don't work, you could study for 10 hours a day for 7 days and get in 70 hours. That might be enough for BEC. It's certainly been done before. Otherwise, I mean, yes, you've already spent the money so you might as well take it, I guess… but the chances are you won't remember much from the test, especially once you get around to studying that section in Becker. And you'll never see the same exam again, so, if it were me, I'd just start from scratch and not torture myself for three hours at Prometric when you haven't done any prep work whatsoever.

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂

If your NTS is expiring in 7 days, just study (if you want) until then and take the test.

If you don't go, you're getting a 0 and nothing out of it. If you do go (heck, you've already paid for it), if anything, you get to see how the BEC exam is if you've never taken it before. You'll get to practice writing in a real test environment (test the timing waters of how long you take to write them, etc).

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

Yeah, I would probably revise my opinion to agree with @nbad, actually. Since it's BEC, you will probably benefit from getting a shot at the WC's. You still have 7 days though, I'd try to study as much as possible and cross your fingers.
