Hi – is anyone familiar with the Tennessee Licensing Process? I just passed my final exam and was told it takes 6-8 weeks for Tennessee to receive my scores. Is that true? Has anyone recently gone through the licensing process in Tennessee?

I was told I had to wait for NASBA to send the state my scores. Then I'd get an email and would have to send them proof I passed the ethics exam and the work experience form. They told me it takes 6-8 weeks for NASBA to get them my scores. I really hope it doesn't take that long. While you are waiting, finish your ethics exam and get your work experience signed.

I submitted my paperwork on 3/20/17 and was licensed on 4/18/17. I called the state board a few times during that wait period to check in and the guy said he would search my name first when the scores came over from NASBA. You could try that strategy to help expedite the process, because it's really only one or two people going through each persons information one at a time.
