Does anyone have experience with taking the exam on the last day of a period and what has been your experience with receiving your result be the release date for this period? Does anyone know once you submit the exam that Prometric reports to the AICPA at the same time of submittal?

I would like to try and get my test result on Nov. 22 and would like to take my exam on Nov. 14 but wondering if I should try and schedule the week before to not miss getting my results on Nov. 22.

I'm taking my exam on November 14th, I should receive the score release on November 22nd, but it isn't guaranteed. I don't schedule exams for when I'll get my score, I took it the first day of the testing window last time, but I just schedule it when I'm ready.

Depending on when you finish the exam, I'd say you have a good chance of getting the score on the 22nd.

I have taken 3 of 4 exams on the last day of the “block” within a window and always gotten my score the day of the published score release. Just my experience.

I've never finished an exam later than like 5 pm on that last day, so I don't know if a later exam on the last day would change anything. I have a FAR Retake scheduled for Thursday(yikes!) and originally had it scheduled for a 3:30-8:00 pm exam window. I got nervous that I wouldn't get my score by November 4th and changed it to an earlier exam.

This is exactly what I'm doing! I'm scheduled for November 14th at 9am so hopefully my test will get sent in before midnight so I can get my score the 22nd. I specifically scheduled for this day so I would get my score back as quickly as possible, but it's also around the same time I'd be ready to take it anyway. Given that this is the first section of the exam I will have ever taken, I can't give any experience on it, but it seems that you will most likely get your score back on the 22nd. Good luck!

Thanks for the responses you all. It would be nice to hear from someone who has submitted the exam after 5PM.

I took an exam on june 10th (friday) and didn't get my score until the last score release date, a few days after the second to last score release date of the window.. So they didn't get my test in time. Took it during the day.

I've been on this message board for five years now and what I've seen for experiences is people finishing later than 5p and getting their results on time. They submit ALL the tests for that day in a batch at midnight and unless they lose power or something freakish you'll be fine (now you'll be sitting in their parking lot at midnight making sure the lights are on!)

Tma was that exam BEC? If so you were probably in the bubble but they received your exam on time.
