How much time should i allocate to study for Audit exam? I am not a traditional accounting student hence i only took one audit class during school and i barely passed that class. But i really want to pass in first attempt, so how long would be enough time allocation for audit exam?

I work full time and took about 6 weeks, spending a month on Roger lectures and reading and two weeks on Ninja MCQ.

I dug out my planner for more detail. 25 hours on book/lecture/notes, and 40 hours on MCQ (roughly 7,000 questions), with trending score ~85%. I have never worked in audit and my one college class was a joke, so I was starting from scratch I felt well-prepared on exam day and finished in just under three hours.

^^Thanks for the detail. I, too, am using Roger and I'm wondering if you listened to the video lectures first and then went back and read the text. I have no audit experience and find this information to be so dry. I've resorted to listening to it on my ride to work instead of waiting until the dead of night entirely.

I listwn to the whole lecture awt first and then read it again. Hitting the MCQs like my life depended on it was key for learning the nuances of audit. This is an exam where you really have to identify the *best* answer, which is not as obvious as simply selecting the “right” answer. At least two choices for any question will be applicable.

I studied roughly 100 hours for AUD, and I don't know yet whether I passed or not… I don't really put much stock in hours studied because everyone studies more or less efficiently than others. Your trending score in Ninja MCQ really is about the best indicator if you're ready to take or not (but that's my experience, so take it for what it's worth).

I took only one audit course as well and was able to pass with studying five weeks (working FT). I'm strong in tax.. not an audit person.. I think 1~1.5 months would be ideal!
