    Hi FAR passed gurus
I am getting scared with seer volume of materials in FAR and in context f REG and BEC where I had paucity of time ,I am wondering what percentage in FAR would be long and short calculations ? How you people managed or it has sufficient time of 4 hours to solve MCQ and SIM ?

    Your inputs are appreciated .

My own experience, at least 90 minutes was needed for me to complete the SIM. For MCQs, I glanced quickly at the math problems; what were given, and what was asking. I assessed and skipped long math problems to come back later. No point sitting there 5+ mins figuring out how to do it. You should know if you know how to work the problems just by glancing at them, and this should only take 10-15 secs.

I'm wondering the same thing. If I plan spending 50 minutes per testlet and 90 minutes for the sims, is that adequate? Do people have time for a break? I'll probably wait until after the second or third testlet to figure that out, I suppose.

I think as long as you have at least 60 mins for Far you'll do fine. FAR SIM questions were a lot faster to answer than AUD. Less wordy.

    FAR - 75
    REG - 82

^No way. U should definitely plan for more than 60 minutes for your FAR Sims. At the Bare Minimum 75 mins for your Sims. Everyone is different, but I would recommend 90 minutes to be safe. My Sims were pretty challenging and lengthy for my FAR exam in Q3. Goodluck!

For me 90 minutes for SIMs was not enough in this window. There was one of 7 which i did not even try to start.
Perhaps this is because I got too tired in the end.

When I took FAR, I had a lot of computation questions. Most of them weren't difficult per se, it was more just really really long. There were several questions I skipped and circled back to at the end of the testlet because I knew it was going to take several minutes to complete the computation.

I left 90 minutes for my SIMs – one was a lost cause because I didn't even remember studying that information. There was one other SIM that I knew how to do the first half, but the second half I had no idea. One of the SIMS was INCREDIBLY LONG. 90 minutes was just enough for me to do 5.5 SIMS adequately (adequately is an overstatement bc I bombed that test). I think had I known how to do the last SIM 90 minutes would have barely been enough time.

I'm going to be the person who says "I finished even though..." not the person who says "I didn't finish because..."

Obviously the more time for FAR SIM the better but since multiple choice questions are worth more, I wouldn't rush through them just to have 90+ mins for SIM. For me, the FAR multiple choice questions took longer to answer due to more calculations than the other exams. I was simply stating that 60 mins is the min requirement.
