Too scared to check score

I’ve been on this track for 3.5 years now and have taken every exam at least twice. It’s not that I’m doing terrible at the exams…if I fail, I’m failing by 1-4 points.

I took AUD back in April (the last two times i took AUD, I got a 74 and 73). My score was released last night; however, I haven’t checked. If I pass, I’ll finally be done, but if I fail, I lose REG too and will be back at 50% done.

Partly why I haven’t checked is because I need to stay focused on work this week, so I’ll definitely check either tomorrow night or Saturday, but it’s still extremely nerve racking. Has anyone else had this feeling before?

Definitely been there before! Last time I never checked mine and then got the email by surprise.

Either way, the key is to keep going and stay positive. We will get there at some point.

@pshah626 – stay strong and carry on. I would keep at the exam until you pass. Don't switch to another exam unless you can't retake it shortly thereafter in the next quarter.

Well hopefully you passed, but if you didn't I would contact your state board. Certain states are giving extensions on credits expiring because the delayed score release. They may let you keep your REG credit for a few more months.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the state of NC isn't extending credits!

Thanks everyone! I will check soon and worst case scenario, I'll be back to studying to get this done!

Hey, @pshah626 even if you don't pass, you know we are always here for you! We know what it feels like to pass and to fail. If you pass, that is awesome! And if you fail, allow yourself a day or two to sulk and then get back on the horse to go again! You CAN do this! 🙂

I will be keeping tabs on this thread to see what your results are. We're all rooting for you!

FINALLY checked!! I got an 85!! I'm officially done! Now I'm just freaking out on the dates. I took REG on October 29, 2015 – so 18 months later would be April 29, 2017. I took audit April 25, 2017, so I'm good, right?

It's too good to be true, so I feel like i have to confirm!

Yay! I'm so happy for you!

As best I understand, as long as you sit before the expiry date, you're good! Although you can call your state board to check. Good luck, I'm hoping to be on the other side of this exam soon, myself!
