Took audit yesterday and realizing I answered a few questions wrong…

I took audit yesterday and felt OK about the exam…hopefully enough for a 75…

Anyway, after the exam, I started thinking about the test and started looking up stuff in the book (which I honestly think is the worst thing a person can do to themselves) and I started to notice things I got wrong. This is making me panic…

Anyone else know they got things wrong and still pass??

Yep! Happened to me. I remember looking up a few multiple choice problems after the exam and was devastated that I got them wrong (especially because they were fairly easy questions). I wouldn't worry too much šŸ™‚

I'm feeling the exact same way – these questions were not hard. I'm so mad at myself and am just hoping that those mistakes don't cost me the exam. I'm glad there's still a chance I can pass!

Yes!!! I looked up several after my exam and know I got them wrong, but I still passed. I would tell you not to panic, but until you see that score you're going to worry. You would worry whether you realized you got some wrong or not. Deep breaths and hope for the best!

Happened to me after Reg. I still passed but part of me wonders what my score would be if I had gotten them right.

@CPAMommyof3 – You're right, im going to stress out until I know but its nice to hear that people pass even tho they know they answered questions wrong. Not that I thought I was going to get in the 90s or anything, but to get questions wrong that I should have gotten correct is freaking me out.

I hate this waiting game for the scores. I never know if I should move to a new part of wait for the current part….ugh!

I hate the waiting game too! I don't start studying while I'm waiting because I know it won't be productive, but I also plan my exams so I have the shortest wait possible. Everyone is different though. Many believe you should jump right back in there and start studying, but I need a break after each exam and that's what I use the waiting period for. Good luck! I'm sure you did better than you think. Keep us posted!

@ CPAMommyof3 – in looking at the other threads, I see that you used the audio and ninja notes for audit. I did too. I felt like it really helped, did you? are you going to buy them for your next section??

@Determined CPA Thanks! I work in tax so Reg is supposed to be one of the easier exams for me. Audit however, it my weakness. Although, I am looking to move out of tax into audit haha.

@DeterminedCPA–Yes! I will buy them for both FAR and REG, along with the Wiley Test Bank. I think they all helped with AUD. Hopefully they will help with the others as well.

I did a very silly mistake in one of my SIMS on FAR, and I didnt realize it until next day. I still scored stronger on my sims.

    FAR 85
    AUD 83
    BEC 76
    REG 90

I checked the answers for a couple of questions after I got home from both of the two tests I took and saw they were wrong, but I still passed…don't sweat the details, you can't remember every question from the test…you just have to hope/believe the ones you did not know for sure and the ones you know you got right outweigh the ones you realize you got wrong! Having a couple questions wrong does not mean you failed….it just means you don't know everything! I personally don't want to associate with the guy who knows everything because I hear he is a dick!

Good old Gandalf, "All we have to do is decide what to do with the time that is give to us."
"Not all those who wander are lost."

    FAR: I slayed the Dragon!
    BEC: I defeated the Siren!
    AUD: I eliminated Medusa!
    REG: ?????

All of these responses are making me feel much better! I'll feel better once I know if I passed, as we all will!

@sonygal57 – Too funny with saying the guy who knows everything is a dick. Very true! LOL

I really try to avoid checking for my answers now. It'll just tear you up and make you use the small sample size of a handful of questions missed and project that mentally on your entire performance. That's not to say I haven't had random moments of recalling missed questions days or weeks after the fact. Woke up at 5 one morning remembering I forgot to do partial year depreciation rather than the whole year for a few lines of a sim, ha.

LOL that's the worst haha…5am?? I'm more annoyed that they weren't hard questions that I got wrong over actually getting things wrong. Dec 6 honestly cant come fast enough, I NEED to know if I passed!
