I took AUD today and was blessed with two Research Simulations. Has anyone else had two? What are the odds that one of them is pretest?

They were both pretty easy, so I’m hoping they both count towards my score!

@accountingmisfit – I took AUD on Tuesday and was extremely grateful to see 2 research sims. You're right, they weren't too bad at all and like you, I hope they're both graded and not pretest….. Best of luck on Sept 19!

I've had 2 research sims plenty of times during my exams, and I've sat 6 times total now. It's rather common, at least for me. Hopefully you got them both right and they weren't pretest!

Very likely one is pretest. Wouldn't really be fair since research questions are unanimously considered the easiest sim type question

The exams only have one graded research question. If you got more than one, one was for sure a pre-test question. Which sucks cause that means all of your super hard SIMs counted.

That makes no sense.. You should want a pretest research question because they're easy and take like 10 minutes. That's way better than having a regular pretest sim that might take you 30+ minutes and it doesn't even count.

There are benefits to both cases.

You can also want a research to be graded because you are sure about the answer unlike a long sim that you absolutely guessed on and not sure.

Well yeah anyone would love to have two graded research questions but that isn't what is being discussed.

The belief is that you get 6 regular sims, a research and a pretest questions. He said it was bad luck having a pretest research question because that meant all your regular sims counted. Which doesn't make sense since you will have 6 graded regular sims regulardless of whether your pretest question was a research or regular sim. Why would you want to waste time on a tougher pretest question?
